How to read this tier list

Every pet in Steal An Egg with a publicly confirmed income figure is on this page — 90 of them. Each band groups pets by their rarity label, and within each rarity group the rows run from the highest income per second down to the lowest. That is why you will see a small income drop partway down a band: that is a rarity boundary, not a sorting mistake. The bands sort by rarity; the income column sorts inside each rarity group.

Nothing here is an official ranking. The developer has never published an S-to-D tier list, and the community sources used to build this page disagree on exactly which of Divine, Eternal and Secret sits highest. The bands are a reading aid, not a verdict. Where sources conflict, this page follows the rarity label a pet is listed under in-game — the same label used on our full pet list.

Why the bands are not a straight income sort

The most common misreading of any tier list is that a higher band always means more income. It does not. Rarity describes how hard a pet is to obtain, not what it pays — and the two come apart constantly here.

• Secret King Snake ($3.5M/s) earns less than Cosmic Rhinotaur ($17.5M/s) — roughly a fifth, from a band above it.
• Legendary Crustia ($130K/s) outearns Mythic Ankylosaurus ($120K/s).
• Epic Bananita Dolphinita ($10K/s) beats Legendary Snake ($3.6K/s) — nearly three times, from two rarity steps lower.

Read the bands as "how hard is this to get," and the income column as "what does it actually do for me." When the two disagree, the income column is the one that changes your money.

Early, mid and late game picks

Early game — volume beats precision. Hatch often, expand your pens, upgrade the treadmill, and take whatever income upgrade is cheapest. A Common at $6/s is a real step up from one at $1/s when you are starting from nothing; hunting a specific pet this early costs more time than it returns.

Mid game — Mythic is the sweet spot. Mythic targets are grindable without perfect luck: Spider ($22K/s), Scorpion ($18.5K/s) and the Volcano Legendaries (Lava Iguana $11K/s, Flaming Bull $9.5K/s) are all reachable before you can survive the later biomes.

Late game — Cosmic and Secret take over. Divine Kitsune at $3.2B/s is the highest confirmed figure on the site and the current ceiling. The climb from Mythic to Cosmic is roughly four orders of magnitude, which is why mid-game grinding matters more than it looks.

What "best" means when you cannot survive the biome

A high-income pet in a biome you cannot enter is worth nothing. Every biome past the starter has a speed gate — from 900 in Lake up to 7B in Titan Temple — and you cannot collect an egg you cannot reach. If you feel stuck, the binding constraint is usually your speed stat, not your tier list. Which pets are not ranked here

Twenty-two pets have no confirmed public income figure. Four come from the limited Brainrot event — Strawberry Elephant, Bomboclat Crocolat, Mangolini Parrochini and Belula Beluga. The other eighteen arrived with Update 4, the Angels & Demons biome: sixteen that hatch from Angel and Demon Eggs, plus the two Secret Shrine fusion results. No income value is published for any of them, so they are not placed in a band rather than given a guessed number. Their rarity is still useful, so it is listed below.
