Steal An Egg egg respawn timer

Track the 5-minute egg reset cycle — the real heartbeat of a session. Use the reset to be in position before the gate opens, not after.

How the cycle works: Every ~5 minutes the map wipes and respawns a fresh set of eggs, closing for about 13 seconds in between. This timer is based on a 5-minute cycle and is not synchronized with the game server. The countdown is an estimate from when you load the page. For whether the rare eggs themselves can be predicted, see Can you predict a rare egg spawn?

Can you predict a rare egg spawn?

Short answer: no. Here is what is confirmed, what is community claim, and what you can actually plan around instead.

Confirmed: rare eggs are announced server-wide by name and biome at the moment they appear. That broadcast is the earliest reliable signal that exists — there is no public countdown or schedule that fires before it. The only fixed cycle in the game is the ~5-minute map reset, which is what the timer above tracks.

Why a "predictor" cannot do what it claims. The reset cycle decides when the map refills, not what rolls. Which eggs appear is decided server-side at the moment of the refill, and the server-wide announcement is the first public output of that decision. A tool could only name the next rare egg before the announcement if it could read that roll before it happened — we have found no source demonstrating that is possible. Pages that display a predicted pet name and biome are working from something other than the roll.

What you can plan around. The reset cycle is real and worth using: it tells you when eggs refill, so you can already be standing in the right biome when they do. Pair it with the speed table below — if you cannot outrun a biome's guardian, perfect timing does not help you.

Where this page stops. We do not publish a predicted spawn, because we have no verified basis for one. A page that always shows a pet name is never wrong about having shown one, which is exactly why it is worth ignoring.

Community claim vs confirmed: you will see Discord servers and "notifier" tools that promise early rare-egg alerts. Relaying the server-wide broadcast faster than you would notice it yourself is a genuine convenience — but that is reading the announcement, not predicting it. Treat any claim of knowing the spawn before the announcement as unverified; we have not found a source that demonstrates it, and this page does not claim it either.

Biome speed requirements

Community reference values, not independently measured by this site. Jungle speed varies (40K–50K). Treat the in-game value as the source of truth. The checker on Tools uses this same table.

Guardian names are not settled. Volcano is listed here as Hellhound; that name is not in the pet list, and the Volcano pets include Cerberus, not Hellhound. Cosmic is listed as Dragon, and some sources say Dragon King; the pet in that biome is Cosmic Dragon. Abyss Ocean's Moby is not in the pet list. Cherry Blossom is Oni Tiger here, also called Nine-tailed Fox elsewhere; Kitsune is a separate pet in the same biome. None of these aliases were picked as the "correct" name. Angels & Demons is on this table because the biome page states a 20B gate and states that the guardian is not published per side. That row is a site-internal reference, not a new measurement.

How to use the reset

  • Be in position before the gate opens. Spend the 13-second lockout at the edge of the best biome you can survive, not at your base.
  • Read the server-wide spawn notice. Rare drops are announced by name and biome. No notice, no sprint.
  • Check the low zones. Rare eggs are not restricted to high biomes — a Secret in an early zone is the best break a new account can get.
  • Get it home inside the window. An egg still in your hands at the reset is lost. The run home is the hard part, not the pickup.
