What the biome is

Angels & Demons is the twelfth biome in Steal An Egg, added in Update 4, and the only one that is not reliably there. It sits past Titan Temple at the end of the map, but it only exists at night — walk to it during the day and there is nothing to steal from.

It also does not pick a side for you. Each night it rolls itself into one of two forms: Angels, which hatches Light pets from Angel Eggs, or Demons, which hatches Darkness pets from Demon Eggs. You cannot choose which one you get, so a pet from the other side has to wait for the biome to roll that way.

On rare nights the two merge. The Merged form puts both egg pools in the same zone and adds a luck bonus while it lasts. Nothing published says how often that happens, so no rate is printed here.

The 20B Speed gate

Stealing an egg here needs 20 billion Speed. Every source checked agrees on that number, and it applies to the Angels side, the Demons side and the Merged night alike. It is a jump of roughly three times the 7B that Titan Temple needs, which follows the pattern of every biome before it — each new gate lands well above the last rather than easing you in.

The gate is not a suggestion. Below it you can still walk in, but the guardian is expected to catch you before you carry an egg back to your pen, which costs you the run. The update also added a higher treadmill tier, and the Moonbloom Trail gives a large movement multiplier, both of which exist to push Speed toward that wall.

The 16 pets, by side

Rarity is listed as the day-one guides and the patch notes report it — every source checked agrees on the ladder. Income per second is not published for any of these pets, so this site prints no number for them.

Each side runs the same ladder: one Legendary, one Mythic, two Cosmic, two Secret, one Eternal and one Divine. The Divines are ArchAngel (Light) and World Burner (Darkness), and both egg types carry a chance at their side's Divine, which is more generous than the shop eggs this update retired.

Two pets do not come from an egg here

The biome also hides a room that produces two pets no egg can hatch: Equinox and Aetheron come out of the Secret Fusion Shrine, which combines one Light pet with one Darkness pet. They are listed on the fusion table, and the room itself has its own guide.

What is not published

Four things a visitor usually wants, and none of them exists in a verifiable form yet: the income per second of the 16 pets, the odds of each egg's rarer outcomes, the per-side guardian's name, and how often the Merged night triggers. This page states that rather than repeating a number from a single unverified post. If a published figure appears, it will be added with its source.

Common questions

What Speed do you need for Angels & Demons?

20B Speed. That is the minimum to steal an egg there and make it back to your pen; the same number applies to the Angels side, the Demons side and the rare Merged night.

Is the biome always available?

No. It only appears during the in-game night, and each night it rolls one side — Angels or Demons. You cannot choose the side.

How many pets are in Angels & Demons?

16: eight Light pets on the Angels side and eight Darkness pets on the Demons side, plus two fusion pets that come from the Secret Shrine rather than an egg.

Can you get both sides in one night?

Only on the rare Merged night, when both egg pools appear together and the zone adds a luck bonus. No source states how often that happens.

Where this comes from: the mechanics on this page are consistent across several independent day-one guides and the update's patch notes; rarity names and the Speed gate agree everywhere they were checked. Values nobody has published — income per second for these pets, shop prices, hatch odds, the per-side guardian — are left out rather than estimated. Anything you need to be sure of, confirm in-game.
